DKP distribution?

i was wondering how do you guys earn DKP? distribute loot etc? i tried looking for any explanations on the DKP site but didn't find any.

Our system is points in points out. Say our raid goes and kills razorgore he drops wrath braclets and netherwind bindings and a untamed blade. The braclets cost 35 and netherwind 35 and untamed 70. We add up all these and then take total/people there and thats how many points someone earns at a boss kill. If you want said item you send a tell and whoever has most points gets it.
