I wish I owned a Mac
I've been getting a Windows error, saying one of my files is corrupt and that I need to repair my setup. I put in the Windows installment disc and booted it by pressing f12 at the opening screen. It loaded my hardware information, and the repair option became available. I couldn't repair though because of an error, it said I had no hard disk drive and to make sure it was turned on and connected correctly. I opened my computer and everything was turned on and plugged in, so I've basically been on the phone with Microsoft for two days. If anyone has an idea whats going on it'd save me a lot of time ><

My harddrive is less than a year and a half old. I take pretty good care of it so i dont think it's dieing, ill just try to reformat.
/agree Shiv. This is a pretty ridiculous problem. There were 0 problems with my computer prior to this other than internet connection problems and a virus which was taken care of. I really don't understand why more people catch on that macs own PCs, so more shit becomes compatible ><

Formatings just feels so good though. A clean start, with no problems, and you know exactly what is on your computer. A chance to set up your computers drives and finally get everything organized.
Dont think of it as losing everything, think of it as a fresh start to a better system.

Pretty much, once my computer starts acting stupid, I just wipe it clean and start over.
My family keeps asking for help on fixing their computers and I just tell them to back up their shit and format-reinstall. It solves 100% of your problems and as long as you're good at backing up you don't lose much.

I don't mind losing all the shit on my computer, except for my music and all my PS, N64, and SNES roms.
The sad mac face is dreadful, but nothing matches the raw sense of evil which radiates from the devil mac face.
