So everyone's thoughts on SC2 with limited info we have the gameplay videos make it look awesome idk iv always loved SC it was my first true RTS that got me into good gaming followed by WC3 where I got into the competitive side.

I pretty excited about SC2 myself. Like lyion this was my first RTS game and first online gamming experience when SC came out. The new graphics look pretty hawt! Zerg Rush FTW!

There already are superweapons... Nukes they just require a ghost.

Mothership wont be all that big of a deal. When game comes out it will at most be able to do one of those abilties with the energry it has.

Unless they readily buffed nukes to the level of the mothership, they are no where near matched. A nuke was easily avoidable, and if it did hit, the damage outcome was negligible. THAT SHIEP NEEDS TO BE NEFED.

Uh, maybe 2008 Christmas. Judging by what they did with Warcraft 3, we will see closed/open beta by the end of this year and a launch date by May next year. Blizzard already confirmed the game won't be launched in 2007.

Yar, and the multi page discussion going on in the WGTour forums that my post was basically a summary of is wrong. Who knows though, you obviously know more about the game then the top 10% of starcraft players.

Either way, with no information available on the requirements to build a mothership, I'm going based off the assumption that it is the same as Nukes for terran. If this is true it's pretty obvious that as it stands its def more powerful then a nuke. Although who cares, as its so early in beta that it probably is going to change completely by the time it comes out.

I just wanted to stir shit with lyion, instead I caught a bigger fish =(.
