Actually, I made 2 videos!

First: Polystyrene Dream - A new music video along the lines of Damaged Dreams and Arithmomania.
http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=94767

Second: Yume the movie - 17 minutes of nostalgia
xvid: http://www.galenmaly.com/videos/Yume_the_Movie_xvid.avi (400 MB)
h.264: will be back up in an hour or so

Edit: apparently warcraftmovies decided they don't love me anymore and aren't going to promote my video, I would appreciate it if peopl with accounts would rate it

Makes me want to play again seeing memories of all the old school nigma. But everytime I log on more recently, it's still never the same. I don't think anything will top our BWL/AQ days in Nigma as the best experience in my WoW life.

And I just recently let my account run out prior to WoTLK. I'll probably pick up Wrath and reactivate.

I just can't see anything really "new" as far as boss encounters go. Most everything in TBC was put with an enrage timer so you couldn't just stretch the fight for 25 minutes and pro it with 5 people.

I still hate all the potion popping that goes on. Seems silly to pretty much require most fights to be all drugged up to kill stuff. Only pots I really remember using were onyxia/nef buffs (which made doing old content not that bad) and the ZG buff when we wanted to go in and whoop ass.

It's all more of the same. But ya our BWL/AQ days are by far the best experience in WoW thus far.

Looking back, I think our dkp debate was a big highlight also. I'm pretty amazed we came up with that system and somehow got everyone to go along with it. I don't think it was exactly what any one person wanted (especially me -- I was strongly in favor of a single table with a dkp tax to reduce variances/spread coupled with a complicated upgrade system that I failed at explaining), but because everyone had input and the mages were so gun-hoe about their ideas, we came up with a pretty good compromise that was a lot simpler than what I wanted. In the end I think it worked decently, better than what I was pushing for, and I was quite happy with it. I think I learned a lot about teamwork and "good management/leadership"/consensus building (or whatever you want to call it) through experiences like that. Seeing everyone else fired up about even the mundane stuff like dkp, while keeping a positive attitude, fired me up. I definitely learned a lot of useful life skills by playing and getting to know all of you, and it was a pleasure. I doubt any gaming experience I'll have in the future will compare with it or what we accomplished.
